PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS: Dr. Patel is a nationally-recognized surgeon with 20 years experience and over 16,000 cases performed. He was included in “America’s Top Ophthalmologists” and voted one of the “Top Doctors” for eleven years by Seattle Magazine and Seattle Metropolitan Magazine. Dr. Patel is the first surgeon in Western Washington to receive certification for the Visian Implantable Contact Lens (ICL). He has also served as the Ophthalmology State Society President for the Washington Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and is a member of multiple national, state, and local ophthalmological and medical societies.

PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS: Dr. Jung brings extensive experience as surgeon with 14 years in the field ophthalmology with an academic and teaching background at various universities and medical institutions. He has served in the Department of Defense as an active duty military surgeon with deployment experience as a trauma surgeon in Afghanistan and flight surgeon experience as part of an aeromedical transport unit. On the humanitarian side he has been privileged to join other healthcare teams serving underserved areas around the world with experience in Liberia as a volunteer surgeon as well is Ecuador delivering eye care to thousands of patients.
PERSONAL INTERESTS: Dr. Jung and his family particularly enjoy what the Northwest has to offer as a beautiful part of the country with all its diverse geography and sites to explore.

He is Vice President of The Pierce County Optometric Society, a member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington, and a member of the American Optometric Association.
PERSONAL INTERESTS: Dr. JAC loves cooking, running, and hiking with his wife all around the Pacific Northwest.

During her optometric training, she also received her Master of Public Health and has a special interest in volunteering and ensuring that eye care is accessible to everyone.
